Local movers who actually do the moving
Ochoa's Moving Services LLC was started by Raul Ochoa Alvarez and runs out of Gaithersburg, Maryland. We are not a broker and we are not a call centre — when you call, you are talking to the people who will be in your home on move day.
Most of our work is residential: families moving between houses, townhomes and apartments across Montgomery County, plus long-distance moves for people leaving the area. We handle the parts other companies charge extra for or leave to you — disassembling the bed frame, packing the kitchen, rebuilding the wall unit, and hauling away the mountain of flattened boxes at the end.
What we care about is simple. Nothing gets carried before it is wrapped. The floors and door frames get protected before the first trip. The price we quote is the price you pay. And we do not leave until you have walked the new place with us and everything is where you want it.
What we stand for
Six habits we hold to on every job — a studio apartment or a five-bedroom house.
Protection First
Pads, wrap and floor runners go down before anything is lifted — every job, no exceptions.
Straight Answers
A real walkthrough, a real price, and no mid-move conversation about extra charges.
Your Home Matters
Door jambs padded, banisters covered, and the place left clean when the truck pulls away.
We Show Up
Open seven days a week, with the flexibility for closings and elevator slots that shift.
The Whole Job
Packing, disassembly, loading, reassembly and debris removal — not just the truck ride.
Finished Properly
Furniture rebuilt, boxes in the right rooms, and a walkthrough with you before we leave.
A better moving experience, by design
Anyone can promise care. These are the things you can actually check before you book.
Four steps, start to finish
A predictable process, so you always know what happens next.
Talk It Through
Tell us the addresses, the date and roughly how much there is. We listen before we quote.
Walkthrough & Quote
Every room counted, basement and garage included, then a clear price in writing.
Move Day
Wrap, protect, disassemble, load, drive, unload and rebuild — handled by one crew.
Final Walkthrough
We check both homes with you, then take the boxes and debris away with us.
Where you'll find us
We're based in Gaithersburg with a 30-mile core service radius covering 12 areas across Maryland — plus long-distance moves out of the region.
