Baltimore is the longest regular run in our service area, and we make it often — usually for families moving between the city and Montgomery County in one direction or the other. Because it is a single crew loading and unloading, nothing is transferred between trucks along the way.

The city's rowhouses are their own discipline. Stairs are narrow and steep, turns at the landing are tight, and there is frequently no alley access or legal spot for a full-size truck directly out front. We plan the approach in advance and take furniture apart rather than wedging it up a stairwell and damaging both the piece and the wall.
